Objective: To provide an understanding of volunteer opportunities and services in Shelby County.

Our programs offer our participants an introduction to our community’s challenges and possibilities, Additionally, we emphasize learning through experience that provides in-depth knowledge, tools and a network to better serve the community.

Welcome to Shelby County - one of the fastest growing counties in Alabama and the Southeast! Encompassing approximately 800 square miles in Central Alabama at the southernmost extension of the Appalachian Mountains, the County offers diverse amenities in a temperate climate with dramatic landscapes.

Alumni

Leadership Shelby County Alumni fosters the goals and purposes of Leadership Shelby County by sustaining within each graduate the momentum for progress and continue networking relationships by informing and educating members about current issues and challenges facing the County.

Youth

The youth programs are tailored developing their leadership skills to better serve their schools and community. This is an opportunity for our youth to learn, grow, inspire, and engage in our community.
